I know it has been a long while since my last post but I aim to fix that. I haven’t done much camera work since May when I done a promo shoot for a music duo which went well but since then I haven’t done any photo work or personal shots. I’m on the edge of maybe attending the Resonate gaming event in Glasgow at the end of the month but we will see how I feel. For now I will revisit Photoshop and do some tutorials to get more familiar with the program.
So this week is my Easter week off from work and have spent a few days in and around Glasgow taking the few odd photos here and there. Monday was spent at the Cathedral (next to the Necropolis) which was ok but i didn’t explore the place as much i’d like to have and most of my interior shots didn’t look as great on my pc as they did on my camera display, so that was a let down. However i went into the Necropolis and wandered around there for the first time ever. I can’t believe it has taken me until now to look around that place. It’s a haven from the busy streets and you get lovely view for miles. The day after i was wandering around the streets for a short while just trying to capture some urban shots but didn’t get an awful lot of photos, […]
Due to the never-ending bad weather, I haven’t been able to get out and about with the camera but I’m hoping to change that soon by exploring some new places and may be some photo jobs. However this won’t be happening for a while yet. Until next time.
I know it has been a while since my last update but i will be adding more stuff to my gallery very soon plus an update to my blog about my shoot at Glasgow’s Ivory Blacks which happened a couple months back and an aftermath of a shoot i will be doing tonight at The Vale. If it will be the same as the last shoot done there then it’ll be a blast. Again i will be photographing local band The Face On The Moon and as always, another act will be on to support TFOTM but i will be observing only.
I have finally got my shipment of A6 postcards brought to me and they’re now for sale over at Etsy. They cost £1.00 each or £8.00 for a bundle of 10 mixed cards. Just follow the link in the “shop” section to see them.
I have taken the step to get some of my best works printed in A6 postcard form to be sold. They’ll arrive in 2 weeks time hopefully and before then, i’ll be buying a few necessary items in order to send out postcards in packs of 10. I’ll be uploading all details to my Etsy store when everything is ready and i’ll post on here, Facebook and Twitter to get things started. Onwards and upwards 🙂
Over the last few weeks, i’ve been fiddling around with my camera for the 1st time since January. I participated on a couple of day tours that took me all over Scotland which was simply amazing. I don’t get to see the country often, in fact i hardly venture outside Glasgow, but i think i’ll change that because some of the sites i saw were absolutely stunning. From beautiful architecture, gigantic mountains that certinly made me feel small and vast lochs that were much bigger than i imagined. If you would like to see some examples of my shots, please visit my Flickr page where i’ll be updating with all shots i took on my travels. I would post them here but i don’t want to bombard this page with each new photo that i process 😉 https://www.flickr.com/photos/120659273@N07/
I know i said i’d be posting stuff up by now but with all the recent bad weather of snow, wind and rain, i just haven’t had the heart to go wandering with the camera. If it was only cold then i’d have no problems getting out and about but i don’t fancy getting soaked in the process. But saying all that, that simply means i have nothing new to showcase for now but i may just take a trip to the Riverside Museum on Thursday where i’ll be indoors all of the time. Also in other news, i’ll be doing some more gig photography for local band The Face on the Moon at The Vale bar in Glasgow on February 14th and there may be a couple more shoots to do in april and may but i’ll let the band decide on that. Anyway, if i do go out […]
I have been so busy with one thing after another that i haven’t really had the chance to do any photo related work for myself or for anyone else as i believe things become busy during the warmer seasons…but who knows. On top of that, my computer had major issues and the result was all my photos being erased which put a dampener on things and i lost the will to do any photos. But i’ll be back after the New Year with new photos and taking advantage of the longer nights as i want to go back to Glasgow and capture night shots, when the weather isn’t either wet or windy as anything! Have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
